Election elsewhere

Posted by Unknown on 23:58

The power is in the tip of your pen as they say;  but I didn't feel such power during this elections. Because I was out of town ( I can’t remember if I checked whether I can vote while in another country), we missed the elections but we were checking the internet for the vote counting, and sad to say that our main candidate lost, well you really can’t predict the outcome of the elections, especially when there are lot of things going on.. if you know what I mean.. But, what’s surprising is that most of the political King-pins in our country lost, hmmm.. I wonder, if it’s not made by vote buying or something like that, then maybe God really has a plan brewing... I can’t congratulate the winners of this election one by one so I’ll just use the media hehe, but I hope that whatever promises that these political leaders made to the people they would honor it, and strive to be a better leader than the ones before them. They would not just make projects that would ensure them a spot for the next elections, but make projects that would ensure the prosperity and the future of our next generation!

Somethings are better of the Old fashion way

Posted by Unknown on 23:48

I saw a letter that was made for me a couple of years back, and it had me thinking (no, not that reminisce the past thinking) which is better? The old fashioned mail where you write on a piece of paper and send it with all the perfumes that you can find, or those stationery’s that are scented to that special someone, or the fast and hassle free way of writing which is just like this.. Writing on the internet or using the Microsoft word, where if you make a mistake you can just delete it unlike the old fashioned one where a simple wrong spelling would make you do it all over again? So which is which?

I don’t know about you guys but for me I’d still go with the classics on with the stationery’s and the perfumes, because first of all effort really does count. I mean it may take like forever to make, especially if you have a very bad hand-writing such as myself, but it’s different when you read it in a actual letter and knowing that every word was carefully written (forgive me for creeping you out) than that over the Internet mail right? It holds more value than the regular email; I guess that settles it then. I better put this letter back before I remember the distant past.. (Cheese ball)

#note:
Call me an old-fashion kind of guy. :)

Hurray for taste buds

Posted by Unknown on 23:32

Before we went to Singapore I frequently asked myself what kind of food I would eat there. I was hoping to find and dine with the familiar foods like, McDonald's, KFC , Jollibee and etc. but much to my surprise the group wanted to try cuisines Singaporean style, and I thought “ oh boy we’re in trouble “ but then as I tried the cuisines they were brilliant, the flavoring was awesome, the way they cooked it, especially the smell.. it captivates my appetite, totally changed my perspective on Singaporean cuisine, I thought that I would never like it cause I got used to Filipino food but then again I was wrong, hehe.. so here’s a picture of me in one the Singapore’s food republic, oh boy I would like to go there again, I still haven’t tried a hundred different food selections. It looks small from the outside but when you go inside it’s so huge, and there’s like a number of different stores (small ones though) selling different food .. (I'm getting hungry now) well,  I would like to type more about food but I think I need food right now, I mean right now! So gotta say bye for now, bon appetite!

Love and my Lil'bro ..

Posted by Unknown on 00:36

I think it was love at first sight for my little brother (poor soul) , you see we were in a mall at Singapore called Bugis, we came across this little cute shop called Cupid hut, ( you can search it on face book if you want to see ) this shop sells couple shirts and clothes, like couple polo’s, couple long sleeves, accessories and the such, but what my brother saw was the girl who was manning the store, a cute and pretty Singaporean girl, he even asked me to take a picture of her, (tsss!) some of us were looking at her merchandise but my little brother was too overwhelmed, so by the time we went to another store, he couldn’t resist it and went back to take a picture with the girl of his dreams, which he didn’t get the name (boohoo! and no Love is not her name, you might mistake it from the title) and Yes! The girl agreed, all throughout the day my brother was holding on to the camera that he used, afraid that one of us would delete there picture, haha.. lil’bro’s nowadays..

too bad its a bit blurry dude, blame the one who took the pic..
(which is not me :3 )

look good together ?

i better post this before he finds out, so chill out guys!

Bag's packed and ready to go!

Posted by Unknown on 00:19

Now to start off with our 8 day trip, let me just say that I will be brief because it would take forever if I mention the whole trip. Arrival at Singapore Changi airport at around 1:00am in May 10, 2013. Slept for a few hours, and then started strolling at Singapore. First stop was the Universal Studios Singapore, the place was awesome, and it feels like they made a different world inside. All the buildings, decorations, even the pavements looked awesome, not to mention the rides I mean they were breath taking.. Literally. All of us loved Singapore, I mean it’s a wonderful city, advanced, clean, ordered,  it’s a place where you would want to live, they’re transportation is good, like taxi’s (there taxi’s are like, Chevrolet, Mercedes Benz and all),buses,  trains or MRT and our favorite the Healthy transportation, you ask why it’s called Healthy transportation? Because it’s good for the health like duh?!, the muscles, the figure, and all. because we walked!! Endlessly I might add!! Lol .. We wanted to experience walking on the streets of Singapore lol. Uhhh! Looks like I failed to mention that it was a two country vacation? We also went to Malaysia by the way, where we took a bus from Singapore to Malaysia that traveled for six whole hours, hehe.. anyway, when we got off our bus from Singapore, Genting Malaysia greeted us with a temperature of 17 degrees Celsius , burr! Note, that I was wearing a jogging jersey, shorts and slippers. We stayed Genting’s first world hotel, that had around 6,000 rooms plus. It was huge, and freezing. Good thing they had Starbucks, anyway after checking in we went to their amusement park and bought a “ Ride-All-You-Can “ ticket, the boys didn't waste any time and immediately went to the Go-kart racing, which I was the fastest haha .. I have bragging rights since it’s my blog, deal with it. Lol, now I don’t want to stall you any further because it may sound boring if I just mention all the things that we did, I will allow you my readers to go and read some more of my new blogs, I will discuss more of the things that happened in our trip in detail, so this is just like a teaser, lol .. Hope you will check them all out, till here for now, gotta bounce, peace out! (pictures below) sorry didn't have many pictures in Malaysia, too bad.
